Family of Messiah YahuShuah Assembly is established upon the following beliefs:

Who We Worship

We worship ×™×”וה [YAHUAH, pronounced YAH-OO'-AH]. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth and all that is in it. He is the Source and Origin of all power. With Him, all exist, and without Him, none exists. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. He exists in all three tenses: past, present, and future. He is eternal; He was and is and forever will be. He is One. He is unique, and there is none that compares to Him. He continually exercises His Sovereignty and Guardianship over all Creation. He rewards the good and obedient ones and punishes the wicked and disobedient.

We believe in ×™×”ושה [YahuShuah, pronounced YAH-OO-SHOO'-AH], the Messiah (Anointed One) of ×™×”וה. He is the Messiah of Aaron and Yisrael and the Messiah of Heaven and Earth. YahuShuah is our High Priest, and He is our Royal Messiah. He was brought forth by the Almighty and was given the first-born inheritance (Teh/Ps. 2:7). The Messiah of Aaron and Yisrael lived in the 1st century BCE, before the age of Christianity, and He is not the Christ of the New Testament. YahuShuah is the Teacher of Righteousness written about in the Dead Sea Scrolls. He lived in Yahrushalayim (Jerusalem) and traveled throughout the land of ancient Israel. He was and is the true Messiah of Yisrael who had suffered sickness, pain, and distress His entire lifetime. He was viciously pursued and violently attacked but was delivered from the point of death by the Almighty. He fulfilled the words of the prophets and is now seated in the heavens with the Almighty (Dan. 7:9; Teh/Ps. 1, 2, 18, 22).

YahuShuah, the Messiah of Heaven and Earth, was given as a Covenant for the people as written in YeshaYahu/Isaiah 42:6; therefore, He is the One who brings the set-apart ones into the Covenant of the Reign.

YahuShuah is the Teacher for the latter day. He is the Prophet raised up like Moshe who guides us in the end of days, teaching the way of ×™×”וה and bringing many into the Covenant. We are Family of Messiah YahuShuah Assembly because we follow Him as an assembly of the latter day, working to save lives by drawing them close to the Covenant.

Who We Are

We are Yahudim, worshipers of ×™×” [YAH], and members of the Family of Yisrael, the physical and spiritual descendants of Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya'aqob (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). We are the set-apart believers in ×™×”וה who acknowledge the Sovereignty of ×™×”וה and submit to His authority. We worship and serve Him only.

The Tribe

We belong to the tribe of YAH, the chosen tribe of Yahudah (Teh/Ps. 78:68, 122:4).

The Yachad (Assembly)

Our assembly is named Family of Messiah YahuShuah Assembly, and our headquarters is in Summerville, South Carolina. We are members of the Yachad, the united, set-apart congregation of the followers of YahuShuah, the Teacher of Righteousness.

Our Nation

We are citizens of the spiritual nation of Yisrael which consists of all the physical and spiritual descendants of Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya'aqob (Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob).

Our Chosen City

We dwell within the spiritual city of Yahrushalayim, the city called by His Name YAH (Dan. 9:19). Yahrushalayim comes from two root words: yarah, which means to teach, inform, or instruct, and shalem, which means peace, restoration, perfect peace. Yarah is related to moreh, the former (early) rain or teacher, referring to the Teacher of Righteousness in Yoel/Joel 2:23. As the spiritual city of Yahrushalayim, we are a House that brings forth teachings of the knowledge of YAH and His peace that is perfect.

Our Belief

Our belief 'structure' is called Yahadut. Yahadut refers to the belief and lifestyle of the Yahudim as outlined in the Torah and taught by YahuShuah, the Teacher of Righteousness. As adherents to Yahadut, we live in obedience to Elohim and His Principles as set forth in the Scriptures. Yahudut is often translated simply as 'Judaism,' therefore, our set-apart belief lies within the framework of Judaism. We represent a set-apart sect of Judaism.

The Covenant of YAHUAH

Salvation and deliverance are granted through entrance into the Covenant of Elohim. When we enter the Covenant and obey His commandments, ×™×”וה saves us from judgment and delivers us from wrath. Obedience brings the blessings of life and good life both in this world and in the world to come. All of the promises made to our forefathers Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya'aqob are imparted to us when we live in obedience. Disobedience to His commands brings punishments in the form of the curses listed in Deut. 28 and throughout the Scriptures.

Entrance to the Covenant

All newcomers desiring to enter the Yachad, the Assembly of YAH, must go through the conversion process which consists of the following:

  • confession and repentance

  • belief in the Name of ×™×”וה, the Elohim of Abraham, Yitshaq and Ya’aqob

  • belief and acceptance of ×™×”ושה [YahuShuah], the Messiah of Aaron and Yisrael

  • acceptance of the Ten Commandments (and the commandments throughout Torah) and commitment to obey them

  • immersion (or splashing) for cleansing of the flesh

  • sprinkling with purified waters for moral, spiritual cleansing

Afterward he/she becomes a member of the Yachad on the earth and has his name written in the book of the living with the righteous ones in heaven (Teh/Ps. 69:28).

Our Altar of Service

We serve ×™×”וה our Elohim through daily offerings of prayer, praise, thanksgiving, and worship, and also through our service to people in teaching, spiritual instruction, guidance/counseling, giving to the needy, caring for the sick, and overall attendance to the spiritual and physical needs of the people.

Our Set-Apart Books

We believe the Tanakh (Torah, Prophets, & Writings) is the set-apart written word of Elohim for His people Yisrael.

The Torah was given by Elohim to Moshe to Yisrael and has been preserved by Elohim throughout the generations. The Torah has never been nullified or done away with.

Elohim communicated with His people through the prophets of the Tanakh and has continued to reveal His will to His people through prophecy until the present day.

YahuShuah, the Teacher of Righteousness, taught the Torah and fulfilled the words of the prophets. The accounts of the Teacher are found in the Dead Sea Scrolls which were discovered in 1947. We learn of the Teacher of Righteousness, His life and teachings, through reading and studying these Scrolls. *We do not accept the New Testament as the Word of Elohim.

Our Set-Apart Days

We observe the appointed times and set-apart days commanded by ×™×”וה in the Torah (Wayy/Lev. 23). We observe the Seventh Day Sabbath, Passover (Pesach), Festival of Unleavened Bread (Chag Hamatzot), Festival of Weeks (Shavuot), Day of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), and the Festival of Booths (Sukkot). We observe these set-apart days according to the dates commanded in the Torah using the current Hebrew (Jewish) calendar.

Messianic Age

We believe that we are now in the eschatological age, the end of days. We look forward to when the Messiah of Yisrael shall extend His hand over the bread and drink new wine with the set-apart ones of His people. We believe that through the Messiah YahuShuah, Elohim will establish His heavenly kingdom to Reign in the earth, bringing heaven and earth together as one. The righteous ones shall prevail over the wicked, and evil will be eradicated from the earth. The reign shall be given to the set-apart ones of Yisrael. The world shall be ruled in kindness and righteousness as our Sovereign takes His place over this Yachad in the earth. Joy, peace, and everlasting life shall belong to the believers.
