Passover for the Gentiles: Abraham and the Covenant Between the Parts

Happy Passover to everyone! Passover is indeed for all who choose to believe in the Creator of the universe יהוה.

The Jewish Passover today is based primarily on the time of Moses when YAH brought the children of Yisrael out from Egypt and into the Promised Land. How did Moses know that the people must come out of Egypt and enter the land? It was a promise passed down to the Children of Yisrael. Joseph said it to his brothers as written:

Ber/Gen. 50:24 “And Yosĕph said to his brothers, “I am dying, but Elohim shall certainly visit you and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Yaʽaqoḇ.”

The prophecy of the Promised Land was handed down from Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya’acob. Ya’acob then passed it to the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael and from them to us today. It is an eternal Covenant as long as the earth exists.

What is this land that the people must pass over to enter in?

The Passover means coming out of slavery to be free and live a great life in this world. It is about living the good life while still alive in this world and in the world to come. The best life will be in the new world, but He wants us to have a free, prosperous, and peaceful life while still alive in this world. There is a land that is peaceful and serene, a land with no lack, and your hearts desires are given to you. This land is a desirable land that every human being would appreciate.

But the key is to get this land. It will take a Passover experience. Let us begin with the father of our belief – Abraham.

The Promise was made to Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya'acob. Abraham found Elohim and believed in Him. His belief was in making יהוה his Master: And he said, “Master יהוה...” (Gen. 15:8). This was counted as Righteousness before YAH.

The Promised Land is a realm of life on the earth. It is not just wealth. Some people think that because they are wealthy, they are blessed. They are blessed, but do they have the extraordinary peace that comes with the Presence of dwelling with יהוה? To enter this Land, we must go through a Passover, a remembrance of YAH fulfilling His promise to Abram.

The Covenant

Here is the promise Elohim gave Abram:

Ber/Gen 15:7 And He said to him, “I am יהוה, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

Elohim promised Abram to not only give him an offspring from his body, but also that his descendants would be as the stars of the heaven. Abram was to inherit the nations as well as the Land.

But Abram wanted to know how this would happen, and he questioned Elohim:

Gen 15:8 And he said, “Master יהוה, whereby do I know that I possess it?”

Then Elohim said to Abram:

Gen.15:9 And He said to him, "Take for Me three heifers and three goats and three rams, and a turtle dove and a young bird."

Abram gathered the animals, and cut them in two. He slaughtered them as an offering to Elohim. The blood of the animals ran between the parts.

He also got a turtle dove and a young dove. He slaughtered them, but he did not cut them in two or divide them.

Ber/Gen 15:10 And he took for Him all these, and he divided them in the middle, and he placed each part opposite its mate, but he did not divide the birds.

The Blood flowed through the animals, which were divided into two parts. There were nine animals divided into eighteen pieces and the two birds.

Gen. 15:12 Now the sun was ready to set, and a deep sleep fell upon Abram, and behold, a fright, a great darkness was falling upon him.

Gen.15:13 And He said to Abram, "You shall surely know that your seed will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and they will enslave them and oppress them, for four hundred years.

Gen.15: 14 And also the nation that they will serve will I judge, and afterwards they will go forth with great possessions.

Elohim prophesied to Abram about the slavery, in the future. After 400 years they were set free as YAH promised.

The second slavery was centuries later from African nations.

Slave ships brought men, women, and children from Africa. The slave trade in Africa concentrated on apprehending the Hebrew Africans who were of the Hebrew culture as well as others. The first slaves arrived in America as early as 1526 coming to the Carolinas. It has been well over 400 hundred years for these people.

This is the prophecy which describes a people of the seed of Abraham going into slavery. This second slavery came much later than our ancient brothers at the time of Moses.

YAH gave Abraham the promises for his seed. His seed will be a defined people, yet they will also be scattered among the nations. All the seed of Abraham will be entitled to the promise of freedom, their own land, and great possessions.

YAH confirmed the Covenant and the promise by passing through the parts.

Gen.15:17 Now it came to pass that the sun had set, and it was dark, and behold, a smoking furnace and a fire brand, which passed between these parts.

A Torch of Fire & A Smoky Furnace:

Gen. 15:18 On that day, the Lord formed a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt until the great river, the Euphrates river.

It is a law and a statue in Yisrael to Remember this Covenant.

Ps/Teh. 105:6-11 (6) O seed of Aḇraham His servant, Children of Ya‛aqoḇ, His chosen ones!

(7) He is יהוהour Elohim; His right-rulings are in all the earth.

(8) He has remembered His covenant forever, The Word He commanded, for a thousand generations,

(9) The covenant He made with Aḇraham, And His oath to Yitsḥaq,

(10) And established it to Ya‛aqoḇ for a law, To Yisra’ěl – an everlasting covenant,

(11) Saying, “To you I give the land of Kena‛an, The portion of your inheritance.”

1Chron/Divrei haYamim Alef 16:15-18

(15) Remember His covenant forever, The Word He commanded for a thousand generations,

(16) Which He made with Aḇraham, And His oath to Yitsḥaq,

(17) And He established it to Ya‛aqoḇ for a law, To Yisra’ěl as an everlasting covenant,

(18) Saying, “To you I give the land of Kena‛an, The portion of your inheritance,”

Meaning of the Covenant

YAH told Abram to bring three heifers, three goats, and three rams. Why three? The world is divided into three parts. This goes back to Noah and his three sons: Shem, Ham, and Yepheth. After the flood, these three spread out and repopulated the whole earth. I believe YAH used these animals to represent the three parts of the world, which is all the people of the earth.

Noah found favor before YAH just like Abram. YAH saved Noah’s three sons and the beasts of the earth and the birds of heaven that were with him in the Ark. The rest of the people of the earth and the beasts of the field and the birds were destroyed.

Elohim gave Abraham a promise of descendants that will be as numerable as the stars of heaven. It is like having his descendants be a replacement for the people that died in the flood. The people who died in the flood were unrighteous – that’s why they died. Now Abraham’s seed would be a righteous people. YAH wants the human race to survive, and the world to be inhabited. Righteous living will cause the earth to be fruitful, and man will no longer die on account of sin.

The Covenant began with Noah and the making of a set-apart people began with Abraham. The three animals in Abraham’s Covenant represent all the people of the world. When you enter Abraham’s Covenant, you become part of the set-apart people. You pass over out of the world and into His set-apart nation.

The animals depict the process of passing over. The goats were the burnt offering for our sins. The heifers were for purification from sin. The rams were a sweet smelling fragrance to YAH. The doves were the blessings of life and peace for the people.

The Covenant between the Parts is a Covenant for all the earth.

If Abraham’s descendants are to be as the stars of heaven, unable to count, then that includes the whole earth. Is it fair to say that Abraham inherited all people when Elohim gave him this inheritance.

But listen – it says that his seed shall inherit this promise when the people inherit him.

I am a daughter of my father Abraham, and I know this because YAH revealed it to me in a dream.

As a daughter of Abraham, my faith in YAH had to be exercised, as well as my belief and trust. Several times throughout the years, YAH has caused us to exercise our faith, myself and family.

YAH recently revealed that our Assembly is the counterpart to our Jewish brothers. We have known this since He gave us our flag in 2004. The set-apart banner is for the new nation. The new nation is for the Hebrews returning to YAH from the world and for the Jews who accept their return.

These are the two parts. The animals were split in two. The birds were not split, but there were two of them kept whole. The two parts are the lost Hebrews from the seed of Abraham and the Jewish people. The two parts unite to be complete in YAH. Together, we will defeat the enemies of the Jewish people and proclaim the Name of YAHUAH.

THE OBSERVANCE OF THE PASSOVER FOR THE NATIONS

This is for the nations to observe this remembrance because as believers in YAH and His kingdom and His promise, we too are entitled to our portion of the Land promised to Abraham.

To observe the Passover:

  • One must be circumcised in the heart and the flesh. The heart is especially required to be circumcised.

  • One must come to believe in the Name of יהוה [YAHUAH] as written in the Scriptures. He is the One and Only. His Name is the Name above every name. Life is in His Name. It is He who made the Covenant with Abraham. It is an everlasting covenant for a thousand generations, an everlasting Covenant with Yisrael.

  • You have to make a decision to choose YAHUAH as your Master. Abraham made YAHUAH Elohim his Master. He believed and trusted completely in the Name of YAHUAH. If we are going to be Abraham’s seed, then your faith will substantiate, and when you obey His commands, He is your Master.

This Passover is a Passover for the people, the seed of Abraham. Through this Passover of the Nations, our Covenant with Yisrael is established to be a united people of Elohim – the Lost tribes returning from the nations and the Jewish nation.

This observance will be a door for the gentiles to come out of the bondages of this world and to enter a realm of life bringing forth blessings. This Observance is called the Passover from Slavery to Freedom and from Death to Life. Please join the Family of YAH - House of Elohim for the Remembrance.

Prepare your hearts to go through a life changing experience. Go through it, and watch your life prosper and be extended. YAH is calling for the nations to return and be the counterpart, to be one with the Jews, no longer separated.

We believe when YAH mobilizes the Gentiles to enter this Covenant, the Mashiach will be revealed, and the Jewish exile will be over.

HalleluYah!
